1. The Ukraine is in its present form into a great extent an artificial entity that did not turn into an independent state until the break-up of the Soviet Union two decades ago.

2. On one hand, it includes territories in the west that had never belonged to the Russian empire (Transcarpathian region, Galicia and others) and became part of Russia only after WW2, and on the other hand territories that were from the 18^th century purely Russian (Crimea, Odessa, the Eastern part of the country), for which the independence of the Ukraine meant the extraction from their original nation.

Od lat, wielu lat, jezdze na narty w okolice Pragi. Zawsze towarzysza mi sztaby telewizyjne, eksperci, którzy na zywo komentuja dla telewidzów styl; w jakim jezdze, co tam na starosc sie u mnie zmieniło. W tym roku to juz w ogóle była afera. Trwała w mediach dobry tydzien.

The Czech people fully respect the use of one of the most important aspects of the Swiss constitutional system, of people´s referendum and don´t feel they have any right to comment on its results – regardless the topic. It would be unproductive to a priori restrict the range of questions which could be raised in a referendum. We should not accept the ruinous effects of the currently so fashionable wave of political correctness.

Ukrajina je ve své dnešní podobě do značné míry umělým celkem, který se samostatným státem stal až v důsledku rozpadu SSSR před dvěma desetiletími. Jsou v něm na jedné straně území na západě země, která nikdy součástí Ruského impéria nebyla a k Rusku byla připojena až po 2. světové válce, území poznamenaná bojem za ukrajinskou samostatnost, a na straně druhé od 18. století čistě ruské oblasti, pro něž samostatnost Ukrajiny znamenala vytržení ze svého původního národního celku...

část 1  Úvod

Vládní programové prohlášení by mělo být strukturovaným, hierarchicky uspořádaným dokumentem, který definuje vládní priority a který představuje kroky, které chce vláda v nadcházejícím období realizovat. Protože prožíváme období nejdelší ekonomické stagnace v novodobé historii ČR, protože zažíváme rekordní míru nezaměstnanosti a protože jsme v ekonomickém výkonu – na rozdíl od všech našich sousedů – ještě nedosáhli ani předkrizové úrovně konce roku 2008, nesmí být programové prohlášení napsáno jako soubor dílčích opatření posunujících parametry našeho ekonomického či politického systému tím či oním milimetrovým směrem.
